About Baseplate

One sentence

Baseplate helps LEGO collectors track the sets they own, manage their wishlist, and discover their next build across Apple devices.

One paragraph

Baseplate is a collection and wishlist tracker for LEGO fans on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro. Version 2.0 rebuilds the app with a redesigned interface, a new icon by The Iconfactory, support for multiple copies of a set, and Radar, a home for wishlists and newly released or announced sets. The free app supports 10 collection sets and 10 wishlist sets. Baseplate Pro adds unlimited tracking, iCloud sync, and the rebuilt Brickify photo feature for $3.99/month or $24.99/year (USD).

The full story

A LEGO collection includes sets already built, boxes waiting to be opened, and a list of builds to buy next. Baseplate brings those parts of collecting together. Collectors can record what they own and what they’ve built, track multiple copies of a set, and keep personal notes alongside set details.

Baseplate 2.0 has been rebuilt from the ground up. Its new Radar tab combines a collector’s wishlist with newly released and announced sets. A purchase action on each set provides a route to buying it from within the app. A redesigned interface supports iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro, with a new app icon created by The Iconfactory.

Baseplate Pro removes collection and wishlist limits and syncs collections through iCloud across devices. Pro also includes the rebuilt Brickify feature, which transforms users’ own images to look as though they are made of bricks. Free users can try the app with up to 10 collection sets and 10 wishlist sets.

Baseplate is made by independent developer Jared Sorge, a collector himself, through Taphouse Software in the Seattle area.
